Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 3 January 2026

Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines what you can and cannot do with Sendlio. It protects our customers, their recipients, and the shared reputation of our sending infrastructure. Violations may result in warnings, feature limits, suspension, or permanent account termination without refund. The AUP is part of the Terms of Service between you and Redlio Designs.

1. You must have a lawful basis to send

Every recipient you email through Sendlio must be one you have a legitimate business reason to contact. In practice: they must have given consent, be a business contact with a clear B2B relationship relevant to your outreach, or fall within a legitimate-interest basis you can defend. You are responsible for understanding and complying with CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, UK GDPR, India DPDP, and every other law that applies to you or your recipients.

2. Clean lists only

No purchased, rented, harvested, scraped, or co-registration lists. No contacts obtained from data brokers selling generic lead lists. Contacts must come from your own prospecting, verified B2B-data providers operating lawfully, or opt-in sources. Sendlio reserves the right to sample and inspect suspicious lists; lists that fail review will be disabled.

3. Honest headers and identity

From-names, from-addresses, reply-to addresses, and subject lines must be accurate and non-deceptive. No spoofed domains. No pretending to be a company, person, or brand you are not. Every email must contain valid sender identity and a working postal address when required by law.

4. Easy, honored opt-outs

Every email sent through Sendlio must include a clear way for the recipient to opt out — either a one-click unsubscribe link, a plain-language opt-out instruction, or an equivalent mechanism. Opt-outs must be processed within 10 business days (or shorter where law requires) and across all future campaigns. Continuing to email a person after they opt out is a material violation.

5. Prohibited content

You will not use Sendlio to send content that is: illegal; defamatory; discriminatory or harassing; sexually explicit or obscene; promoting violence, self-harm, or terror; infringing anyone's intellectual property; or distributing malware, phishing links, fraud, scams, pump-and-dump schemes, gambling of questionable legality, counterfeit goods, or MLM schemes.

6. Prohibited industries and uses

Without Sendlio's prior written permission, the Service may not be used to send email for: adult content; payday, pay-to-play, or short-term high-interest lending; cryptocurrency token sales (ICOs/IDOs/airdrops); unregulated supplements or "miracle cures"; illegal drugs or controlled substances; weapons or weapon accessories; and hate groups or extremist organizations. Additional categories may be restricted on a case-by-case basis.

7. Technical abuse

You will not: attempt to circumvent account limits or anti-abuse controls; probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or our network; interfere with or disrupt the Service; misuse APIs or webhooks; upload viruses, worms, or other malicious code; or attempt to access another customer's workspace or data.

8. Deliverability hygiene

You are expected to maintain healthy sender practices: authenticated domains (SPF, DKIM, DMARC); dedicated sending domains for cold outreach (not your primary corporate domain); warmed-up mailboxes; bounce rates under 5%; complaint rates under 0.2%; and ramped sending volume. Sendlio may automatically throttle or pause campaigns that exceed these thresholds to protect sender reputation.

9. Monitoring and enforcement

Sendlio investigates complaints received through abuse@sendlio.com and through ISP feedback loops. We may review message content and recipient engagement solely to enforce this AUP, investigate violations, and protect the Service. Depending on severity we may warn, require remediation, suspend features (e.g., new sending domains), suspend the account, or terminate immediately. Serious or repeated violations are grounds for permanent ban with no refund.

10. Reporting abuse

If you receive an email through Sendlio that you believe violates this AUP, report it to abuse@sendlio.com with full message headers and content. We investigate every credible report and act on confirmed violations.

11. Changes

We may update this AUP to reflect new threats, regulations, or Service capabilities. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised AUP.

12. Contact

AUP questions: legal@sendlio.com. Abuse reports: abuse@sendlio.com. Postal: Redlio Designs, 12 Krishna Complex, Janta Fatak, Jamnagar, Gujarat, India – 361006.
